SUMMARY:Advance Your Knowledge: Drug Regulations - What is new for the childhood cancer community?
DESCRIPTION:In this webinar\, the participants will learn from our experts about any new developments in the Pharmaceutical Package. The European Parliament is set to adopt its formal position on the revision of the orphan and paediatric regulations this April and the Council has already started its internal discussions. Teresa and Marine will give us an update and let us know about any new developments on the file\, as well as our priorities and achievements in our continuous advocacy efforts to meet with members of the European Parliament and Council representatives. \n\nAbout the Speakers: \nTeresa Pais\nTeresa Pais is an EU public affairs specialist; she worked as parliamentary assistant to a member of the European Parliament\, in a trade association and consultancies in the healthcare sector. She graduated in Law and has a Master’s degree in European affairs. \n\nMarine Gouders\nMarine Gouders\, member of the CCI Europe Office\, studied law and specialised in European law. After graduating\, she did an internship at the European Parliament\, where she discovered the workings of the European institutions. For the past year\, she has been working in the European Affairs Pillar. \n\n\n\nDelphine Heenen\nDelphine Heenen is a CCI Europe board member and the founder\, director and day-to-day manager of KickCancer in Belgium. Delphine was successively a lawyer\, a strategy consultant and active in the investment world of renewable energy. Currently\, she is the leader of the EU affairs pillar and a member of the R&I Pillar. \n\n\n\nregister here

DESCRIPTION:EN 📣 Surviving Survival – Symposium on mental health of Youth Cancer Survivors \nOn 27 June\, a health policy symposium (in German) on “Surviving Survival: How can we improve psychosocial health after childhood\, adolescent and young adult cancer?” will take place in Vienna\, organized by CCI Europe as part of the EU-CAYAS-NET project. \n🗨️ For the first time in German speaking countries\, we will present relevant EU-CAYAS-NET project results to health policy makers\, stakeholders and media representatives\, draw attention to the needs of young survivors 🎗️ and discuss what types of psychological\, social and educational support are missing after cancer in childhood\, adolescence and young adulthood in Austria! 🙌🏻 \nThis will be followed by an interactive patient advocacy training for German-speaking survivors and/or their family members from all over Europe on June 28th! 💪🏻 \nAre you a German speaking survivor/family member\, interested in targeted patient advocacy training and want to learn how to best implement our goals? \nThen register with the button below\, we look forward to seeing you!
