About the webinar

How do we measure the outcomes that genuinely matter to patients, and how can digital health technologies help us do it?

UNIFIED is a five-year public–private partnership, funded by the Innovative Health Initiative, developing a unifying framework for patient-centred clinical-study endpoints derived from digital health technologies. The project brings together three fields that have largely developed in parallel: patient preference information (PPI), clinical outcome assessments (COAs), and digital health technology-derived measures (DHTMs). It then tests the resulting approach across six use cases in five medical domains, namely paediatric radiation oncology (patients and survivors), lung cancer, Parkinson’s disease, obesity, and juvenile idiopathic arthritis.

This session opens the UNIFIED webinar series. In one hour, you will hear:

  • The project’s vision, ambition, and objectives;
  • How patient preferences, clinical outcome assessments, and digital measures fit together in the UNIFIED approach;
  • How the approach is being tested across the six use cases; and
  • The pathways through which the framework is intended to reach adoption, and how to get involved.

A moderated question-and-answer session follows the presentations.

Who should attend: patients and patient organisations, researchers, clinicians, regulators, HTA bodies, industry, and policymakers. No prior knowledge of the project is needed.

The session will be recorded and published on the UNIFIED website and YouTube channel. Questions may be submitted in advance to info@unified-project.eu.
