European High-Level Conference Europe: Unite against Cancer
The German Presidency held the European High-Level Conference Europe: Unite against Cancer on 13th a meaningful EU action on cancer together with the following two EU presidencies Portugal and Slovenia, which is complementary to the EU Mission, EU Parliament and EU Beating Cancer Plan, as it provides a missing link between the EU and MS level. The aim was to adopt a joint declaration on cancer research that will generate an atmosphere of positive change for the Trio Presidency to sustain the topic of cancer research in the two successor presidencies. This was a unique opportunity for CCI Europe to showcase unmet needs in the field of paediatric cancers within the Council of the EU.
